The Invisalign Treatment Process
At Granville Station Dental, Invisalign offers a treatment option for straightening your teeth.
Step 1
Book Your First
Consultation
We begin by examining your smile and determining if Invisalign is the right choice for you. After that, we will use a 3D scanner to construct a preview of your smile as it could look like after treatment.
Step 2
Develop a Custom
Treatment Plan
Based on the decisions which were made during your first appointment, we will map out the precise timeline of your treatment plan. This plan will include exact movements of your teeth and how many aligners you will need.
Step 3
Start Your Custom
Treatment Plan
We will produce a series of custom Invisalign clear aligners specific to your mouth. You will wear them every day and remove them to drink, eat, floss and brush. As your treatment progresses, your aligners will gradually begin to shift your teeth.
Step 4
Switch Your Aligners
Every Two Weeks
About every two weeks, you will switch to the next set of clear aligners. You will also have to attend short checkups with our dentists about every 6 weeks to review your progress.
Step 5
Maintain Your
Brand New Smile
There is reason to be excited when you reach the end of your treatment plan! During a final appointment, we will go over next steps, including prescribing a retainer to keep your teeth straight.
